The Neutral states, which had been sitting on the fence, come into the war on the side of the Confederacy.
Louisville is captured by the Army of Kentucky. Two Federal Infantry destroyed defending the city, with two Confederate Infantry lost in the attack. New Albany is also captured after its two Militia Regiments are routed. Indiana is now their target.
Outside of Charleston the Army of West Virgina annihilate two Federal Conscript Regiments and then go on to take Huntington where two Militia Regiments are swept aside. Will they Virginians head for Ohio or Pennsylvania?
Outside of Lexington the Army of Missouri destroy an un-escorted Union General before taking back Jefferson City. Irregular Cavalry from Rolla outflank two Union Militia that are desperately trying to pillage the railroad lines and force them to surrender. Scouting ahead it is noted there are no more Federal units on the line between Jefferson City and St. Louis (IE they cannot be pillaged on the Unions next turn). One way or the other a big battle is expected soon in Missouri!
