Hier mal der erste Termin und die Settings der 14 Events:
Dear Friends:
The Seventh Nation's Cup (NC VII) will be held over the weekend of June 1-3, 2007, using CIVILIZATION IV Warlords, latest patch. Please read the rules and schedule carefully.
Please register in this thread anytime prior to Friday, June 1st at 12:01 am. at which time it will be locked. A team will consist of a minimum of 6 players with a max of 25. More then one team per country are allowed, however all additional teams that enter per country will be added in after the first team from each registered country. A maximum of 16 teams may enter, first-registered, first-served.
The same person can play in a maximum of 6 events (including being a substitute).
To play you must have been a CIV4Players member in good standing for 7 days prior to the NC.
The winner of NC VII will be the team who has amassed the most points. If there is a tie, after 14 events, a playoff match(es) will determine the winner.
Here is the point system for scoring:
1st Place = 10 points
2nd Place = 7 points
3rd Place = 5 points
4th Place = 3 point
In some events, where there are two equal semi-finalists who come in 3rd and 4th, then each will receive 4 points.

If there are any disputes, the TD in charge of that event will make a ruling. If challenged by either side, then a committee of at least 3 Ladder Admins and TD's (from different clans than those directly involved in the dispute) will be called upon to impartially reach a fair decision. All parties are bound by this decision.
NOTE: Players are expected to be in the lobby 15 minutes BEFORE the match starts to handle all registration issues so the events can start promptly. If no one from a clan has registered by the scheduled start time of the tourney, or contacted the TD, the TD will assume that the clan isn't entering that event, and the event will begin as soon as all registered clans have all their players checked-in and available. There is a maximum grace period of 10 minutes for all events and then the TD will close registration. Incomplete teams will be dropped from that event. (this will be strictly enforced by all TD/HTD/Admins)

Mööönsch diese Amis haben doch nen Flick ab-15 Events, fast alles Teamer, spinnen die?
Sorry, aber das ist mir zu CCC lastig dieses Turnier. 3v3 in Massen, 4v4, 5v5. Wo bleibt denn da das Spiel Civilization4? Denken die denn eigentlich Civ ist ein Teamerspiel? Wenn ich da mitmache, ist das immer so eine völlig andere Welt. Es gelten immer so spezielle Taktiken, wer die nicht fährt hat keine Chance-die sollen doch mal ein richtiges Civ Turnier machen und nicht immer diese Teamershiceee. Sid Meier's Gedanke bei Civilization liegt 100%ig fern von Teamspielen. Ich spiele ab und zu auch mal gerne nen Teamer, aber sowas wie die hier bieten ist mir einfach too much. Wo bleibt eigentlich die Diplomatie, das Herzstück von Civ, bei all Ihren Turnieren? In welchem ihrer Spiele/Turniere kann man denn Civ als Game völlig ausspielen mit Ressourcentausch, Handelswegen, usw.???Wo??? Hä???
Ich finds ja schön wenn man ein internationales Turnier macht, aber man sollte doch auf die Spielweisen Rücksicht nehmen. Also ich hab absolut kein Interesse mehr an dem Turnier.
Ach das macht mich irgendwie anders das Ganze. Checken die denn nicht dass ein Spiel mit 8 Civs die tatsächlich aus 8 verschiedenen Ländern stammen interessanter ist, also massig 2v2 und 3v3???

Ja, ich frag mich echt: Wo bleibt hier der Kult? Wo bleibt der Spirit einer Weltmeisterschaft...wo sind die Flaggen, das Gefühl einer Weltmeisterschaft? Und vor allem wo bleibt die Kreativität der Organisatoren?
Ja ist schade sowas. Ich wollte wirklich immer gerne bei sowas mitmachen, aber die Settings lassen mich einfach (bei der Mehrzahl der Events) kalt, total bitterböse kalt.
Es ist doch so: Die US Ladder beherbergt die meisten Spieler online. Wenn sie Turniere veranstalten, würden viele mitmachen, aber die Turniere sind sowas von trocken und stillos, dass es den Rest der Civ-online Welt fast ekelt da mitzumachen. Umgekehrt haben z.B. wr von BF schon echt geile Turniere veranstaltet wie CCL oder CIC, aber die Amis+alles was sich in ihrer Ladder tummelt weigern sich partout dort mitzumachen- nicht weil das Turnier schlecht ist, nein einfach weil sie sich weigern sich irgendwo zu registrieren was nicht US-Ladder ist. Am liebsten würd ich mal rübergehen und diesen Fritzen zeigen wie man um ein Turnier Stimmung und Stil reinbringt, das tönt jetzt vielleicht ein bischen überheblich aber es braucht ja auh nicht sehr viel um dies zu toppen was die hier "leisten". Es fängt ja schon mit der Präsentation des Turnieres an: man erhält einen 4 A4 Seiten langes unformatiertes Textfile mit allen Events und Regeln draufgeklatscht, also stilloser gehts ja echt mal nicht. Kein Logo dahinter, keine Flaggen, nichts spezielles, einfach hier lest mal und macht mal mit...sorry aber das versteh ich echt nicht wie man als grösste Ladder so monoton auftreten kann.
